Don’t miss the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

That, ladies and gentlemen, is the face of a Lynx that is happy to feel the sun on his fur. It could be the last time he gets to enjoy warmth for awhile. The weather in Alaska has been amazing and eveyone tells me how lucky I am to have it this way. Unseasonably warm, very little rain, clear skies. Every mountain peak is visible, the cool blue of the glacial ice in plain view and animals out and about soaking up what’s left of the summer sun.

The animals here at the Conservation Center are a captive audience. Take an hour or so to drive through and see some animals you may have missed in the wild.
