My guidebook said just enough to raise my interest in the tiny town of Hope, Alaska. Unfortunately after a half-hour’s drive, I found that even their short description was a stretch – there simply isn’t much to see.
Okay, it was the end of the season, but I can’t imagine what else there is to do there in the peak season other than park your RV for the night. This photo is just about everything you need to know.
So, I can’t recommend you see Hope. Save your hour (1/2 hour to, 1/2 hour back to the highway) for travel time and get closer to the better destinations on the Kenai Peninsula.
